OBASA / ADEOYE VISITS (Paramount Campaign Group) Ojo LGA.

In what might be termed as august visit in January, the incumbent MEMBER representing Ojo Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly and the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for same "Hon. T.A. Obasa (MHR) and the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA - Ojo Constituency 1) Candidate " Barr. Adeoye Shadrack Shanuolu - BASS as fondly called by his admirers stormed the Paramount Campaign Group (PCG) extraordinary meeting held recently to keep the group abreast of campaign information of PDP and to also appreciate their effort so far on how they have been ensuring they propagate the gospel of the party candidates to the residents of the local government.

Speaking first was the dynamic, young and humble MHR who narrated the genesis of the group some years back with him as a pioneer member and just like a joke, it delivers both a sitting Federal Lawmaker and a sitting House of Assembly member for the Ojo Local Government. The MHR, reminded the sited members that though in the beginning their were lots of  discouragement coming from left and right but he never have consent to any as he was well focused.

Furtherance to this, Obasa made it clear that today as an MHR, his present position is never a visa for him to see himself as the alpha and omega over anyone within the party system and the federal constituency he represents.  He reiterated that he still remains whom he was and will never raise up his shoulders base on whatever status he has now attain.

The Federal Lawmaker,  in continuation of his speech made it clear that he will not conclude on the fact that he has surpass his predecessors in terms of service delivery to humanity 'BUT' he relies on the Holy Books which irrespective of the denomination said "DO YOUR BEST AND LEAVE THE REST". This also made him went into a specific story of the Holy Quran which narrated the story of (Abubarka, the idol worshippers, the serpent and the prophets). He likened the story to everyday activities of the PCG members and advised them never to be afraid like Abubarka was encouraged in the story when he was told by the prophet never to fear both the serpent and the idol worshippers.

On State of the Nation: as a Federal Lawmaker, Obasa said we cannot continue to run Nigeria as it is being presently run. The hardship in recent time is just unbearable and we all need to correct the abnormalities. This made Obasa to quickly reechoed on the recent " Not Too Young to Run Bill" that was recently passed and accented to by both the national assembly and the presidency. He said this was able to quickly scale through based on popular demand and the interest of some of them who believes it is only the youths that can quickly rescue this nation and young leaders must begin to emerge. In 1983, the same man who truncated the democratic system of that time is still the incumbent president of Nigeria today but take note that the success destiny of Nigeria is in the hands of we young ones and the decision is there in our hand to make if we are ready.

On the forth coming general elections in February and March respectively: Obasa advised the electorate never to see themselves as a caged bird that is continually starved, only for it to be fed on purpose. The PCG and other Nigerian electorate should ensure they exercise their voting right by voting right. Sales of votes is a jeopardy of a country success he said.

The MHR on this note explains some three types of politicians to include: (1).  The Time Giver; who are the sets of politicians who wants to always attend to issues, meetings and others in ensuring the rights are done. (2). The Forecasters; who are those sets of politicians who are leaders in nature and they could easily analyze what best to do in moving forward. (3). The Propagandist; who are those sets of politicians who are neither, nor in nature. Based on this aforementioned sets of political analysis made by the MHR, he advised the PCG members to make and associate themselves with the best sets of politicians they felt could make Nigeria grow.

Haven said all the above, the MHR never hesitated to briefly analyze some of his milestone as a sitting federal Lawmaker to include empowerments, training and retraining, social responsibilities, humanitarian supports amongst others. He said his vision and mission from time immemorial has been to ensure his people are uplifted in all ramification.

Barr. Adeoye Shanuolu when given the floor to address the PCG; said he will rather want to appreciate the audience given to them by the PCG. He further made it clear that the MHR has passed so much information which he will not want to be repeating. BASS however pleaded with the PCG to ensure they are well bonded together on the forth coming elections and liaise well with the PDP leadership in OJO local government on all modalities the party will want to use in achieving election success at the coming elections.

Concluding, he thanked the group leaders for their time and efforts and assured them they as candidates will always appreciate them any day any time.
