OBASA TAKES 2ND TERM OAT OF OFFICE AS A FEDERAL LAW-MAKER
June 11th, the year 2019 is another memory kept in mind, not just for the people of Ojo as a local government alone but also for the incumbent Member representing the Constituency at the Green Chamber of the Nigeria National Assembly ( Hon. Tajudeen Adekunle Obasa) who was frst in the history of the Federal Constituency been sworn in for the 2nd term as a Federal Legislature at the Chamber.
It was a day of meritorious celebration as family members, friends, clergy men and women and constituents categorised by their different ethnic background witnessed the swearing-in occasion. Watching their father, son and leader recite the oat of office for another 4 years term. Immediately after which all elected members participated in internal house leadership election for the 9th Assembly to kick-off legislayive business as expected. The MHR, like many others exercised his voting right to determine his choice of leadership. After this very crucial exercise, the legislative business of the day was brought to an end and adjourn for another day for elected and sworned in members to go give their invited guest a blissful reception.
Oyus Hotel opposite Apo Legislature quarters (Abuja) was the venue of the reception organized by TJ Obasa where he hosted guests and audience to a wonderful evening of appreciation, relaxation and merryment. The evening was cloned with shining blue-pink colour with a touch of white inside the hall accompanied with illuminating exchange lightings which gives it a wonderful glowing background for every form of paparazzi while an Abuja base disk jockey (DJ) was stationed at a corner of the hall to provide danceable and mind refreshng music to thrill the audience at every interval of the event. Outside, was a hangout and a red carpet corner where jounalists and master of ceremonies engaged very important invitees on interactive chats as regards their support for the return and success of the struggle that has inturn bring about the first ever 2nd term and return to the Green Chamber in the history of the Ojo Federal Constituency.
The reception party commenced immediately after the arrival of the MHR with a notable academia as the anchor of the evening. Guests where quickly given recognition across board, VIPs were summoned to join the MHR and his wife on the high table as reserved for them at the reception. In his welcome speech, the MHR congratulates more, every members of the PDP from Ojo Local Government by appreciating their wonderful efforts that has taken him this far as a JINX BREAKER.
His speech moved on to center on some.key factors he chooses to give better attention as he's returning to continue legislative businesses at the national assembly, some of which are continuous support to propose bills and presentation of new ones for the well being of Nigerians, laying and presentation of constituents petitions that requires prompt governmental responses before the house leadership, youth related projects, health initiatives, women supports programes amongst others. The MHR, however did not fail to congratulate more, the incumbent leadership of the PDP within his constituency under the guides of Alhaji Adio Salami a.k.a (city) for making history during their own time. He was also quick to have appreciate a lot of persons and party personnel alongside for their sleepless hard work during the 2019 elections. Not forgetting to appreciate his personal aides whom have painstakenly worked with him during the 8th Assembly after which he uses a good time to eulogise the effort of (Iya Sheriff) his wife who was there day and night even till this time. On closing his remarks, Hon. Obasa went off paper by narrating some of his experiences before and during the 2019 elections but gives thanks to Almighty God who sustained and preserved him and his families to witness the success therein.
Haven read out his opening remarks, staffs of the Nigerian Archievers Award present at the venue came up to honour the MHR with an award of recognition which was used to officially launched out lots of other activities that has been packed together for the evening. Indeed it was an evening of appreciation and of plead for continuous support of the Ojo Constituents for another four years that has already commnced and will keep unfolding as time goes on.

The event venue was filled beyond capacity with well wishers doing legworks, hand and body justice to the tunes of King Sunny Ade (KSA) while awaiting the arrival of the " He that we want" (ENIAFE). In about one and a half hour of expecting the host, the MHR showed up in a glamorous white babariga (agbada) and a fitted purple cap on his head. Beside him was his beautiful wife he has always refered to as his pillar of support as far as his struggle is concerned. She was equally decked in a clothing that picks her husband's choice of color mix. Hon. Obasa and his wife walked in majesticaly into the reception venue like a new couple walking down the asle while their children and some members of the PDP women wing walk along behind the wining couple. In his usual manner, TJ ensures he has walked round the hall to touch all tables where his guests were sitted saluting them one after the other with his wife before he proceeds to the table reserved for him and some traditional rulers who are also guests at that evening event.

It was a very wonderful occasion and i really appreciate our Hon Tajudeen Obasa he really tried for every one of us that attended the event, my prayers for him is that God will continue to lift him higher and higher in his political carriers
