REFLECTIONS (The Story Behind)

Image
Viewing back and smiling.....Oh! Do you remember the last piece of REFLECTIONS I shared here? It was absolutely verifiable information about some of our constituents whom through our relentless effort were able to undergo the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Training & Empowerment programme that has today upgraded the beneficiaries capacity amongst their folks. Well, when the baseless propaganda that were meant to pull us down came from some idle quater, i saw it as a time, but a time without words, if i may say. We are too busy at that time concentrating on how to continually keep the Federal Constituency working than dedication those time to distractive and destructive question sessions.  Now, i think out of our busy schedules at the moment, we should equally give some time out to keep clearing issues like this. And sincerely, we will not hesitate to give undiluted response  and information for both individual and public use. Before I get emotional and carried...

REFLECTIONS (The Story Behind)

Image
As my reflectons through the past three and a half years, counting down  to four in few weeks continues. Fervently, I remembered that sometimes within the year 2018, through our incumbent service to the people of Ojo Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly as Member Representing Ojo Federal Constituency, We were able to enlist good number of person(s) for capacity Training and Empowerments through the National Directorate of Employment, (an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria) to come share part of their skills, knowledge and available opportunities with our constituents. It was a great session all through.  So, when the issues of 'we have been folding our hands' became a jamboree some wailers are dancing to without rhythms, I was wondering what their propagandas are all about..... However, below are some of the individuals that are beneficiaries of the said effort with their mobile contact for the use of those who will want...

We as Christians & Reflections of Easter

Image
Easter marks a Sunday on which life, good deeds, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is observed. This day brings an end to the 3 days or Easter Triduum which starts on Thursday evening and ends on Resurrection Sunday which is as well known today as Easter Sunday. The week before Easter is termed as the Holy Week, the Thursday of which marks the beginning of Easter Triduum and the Friday is Good Friday. The Easter Triduum starts from Thursday evening ending on Sunday evening, the day Easter is celebrated. Generally across the globe and here in Nigeria, this day is being hailed as the day when resurrection of Jesus took place, three days after his burial. Hence this day is also referred to as Resurrection Sunday. Even though Easter has a different connotation as this day is also linked to so many other things but the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a predominant factor for Christians as of today. This is often also held in similarity with Jewish Passover through the Last Supper, s...

BLESSED GOOD FRIDAY & HAPPY EASTER

Image
Seasons greetings to you all. Let me join my faith with all others celebrating the betrayal, judgment, crucification, death and the risen of Christ Jesus across the globe, in Nigeria and most especially in Ojo Local Government. Eqally, I will want to remind us all not to neglect the true reflection of this season called EASTER. That is, our attitude and characters should be seen as Christlike for others to emulate (behold, old things are past away and all things becomes new). In our prayers during these days of remembring the deaths and resurrection of Jesus, our dear country should be included as we all need the positive reawakening of every part of Nigeria, especially, at this period in time. Please, let us all bear in mind that we are all mortal being, only the living will celebrate and praise the Lord.  Our lives during this celebration mood should be with that of sober mind in true reflections of the risen King. Dont drink and drive; don't drive and drink. Let's b...

REFLECTIONS (The Story Behind)

Truly, the electoral seasons has come and gone and here we are together again as families and friends. Birds of same feathers now flock back together again.   Yea! It was a real time of negative verbal swags from some quarters as that has been the norms in our electoral spaces. Quite funny though, "he does not have a house here, he sleeps around in hotels and he is a theif". These are some of the crucifying words melted against us during the campaign periods. BUT are the electorates truly interested in those craps or they have also come to understand all of those are mere campaign of calumny? The propagandas and the intrigues behind, of what good will that be to the good people of Ojo Federal Constituency? Where exactly are the issue based and analytics words of lobby that could easily have found its way into the heart of an average electorate instead? May God help us all. Anyway, todays reflective thought has nothing to do majorly with the above, just a mere digression ...
