REFLECTIONS (The Story Behind)

Truly, the electoral seasons has come and gone and here we are together again as families and friends. Birds of same feathers now flock back together again.   Yea! It was a real time of negative verbal swags from some quarters as that has been the norms in our electoral spaces. Quite funny though, "he does not have a house here, he sleeps around in hotels and he is a theif". These are some of the crucifying words melted against us during the campaign periods. BUT are the electorates truly interested in those craps or they have also come to understand all of those are mere campaign of calumny? The propagandas and the intrigues behind, of what good will that be to the good people of Ojo Federal Constituency? Where exactly are the issue based and analytics words of lobby that could easily have found its way into the heart of an average electorate instead? May God help us all. Anyway, todays reflective thought has nothing to do majorly with the above, just a mere digression on some reasons why we are still afar.

On some talks that suddenly emanates from some part of the federal constituency to tarnish our image in exchange to sentimentally bought over favor,  "that we have been idle for the past few years that we've been occuping the Ojo Federal Constituency constituency sit at the green chamber of the National Assembly". How true is this and what facts are behind it?  Let me remind you all in case you are quick to have forgotten that sometimes ago about two year away from now, it was our desire to engage the Ojo Federal Constituency teeming youths in an advanced vocation and educational training that would have by now produced and graduated hundreds of participants in not just a vocation but advanced professional vocation and education to be precise.

We seeked for approval on the said project from the required and necessary Lagos government authority, offices and officers and to God be the glory, we were given a go-ahead to start the project with its location around the secondary school complex within Agric community. without hesitation as it is a burning desire, we commenced a building project to house the Ojo Federal Constituency Vocation and Educational Center since the beneficiaries are not going to learn or sit on the floor or on the street.  This project construction was well visible to the public and very sure people who can still testify to it are all round the constituency, most of whom are not even politically inclined as far as Ojo Local Government is concerned.

Shockingly, the same government personnel / authourites that has given us their consent to start the project construction suddenly woke up from trans to remember, oh!, that project is being pioneered by a PDP person occupying the local government sits at the Federal House of Representatives. Before the school complex clock ticks the next day, a bulldozer is already on the standby, not just to pull down the building that has reached lintel level in a very short period but to also jeopadise the future of so many young persons and adults that would have either directly or indirectly benefitted in the project through learning or empowerment via the center by the time it start running.

Hmm mm.......just reflecting....
